The article oozes with smarminess. Perhaps one should consider that after 50
years as a rabbi and chaplain (drawing salaries for both positions) and living
within his means, he was able to save a sizeable portion of his income. Consider that If he saved and invested 10% of
his income over his long career he should be worth much more than the 3.4
million dollars that the condo cost.
Last time I checked, rabbis did not need to take a vow of
